Musicologists are a harmless lot – the stamp collectors of the music world. So, when Boston doctoral student Leigh Maxwell starts running into serious difficulty gathering materials for her dissertation on Spanish composer Enrique Dadi (1877-1949), she wonders what is going on. Two previous Dadi scholars have died violent deaths under mysterious circumstances and one just plain disappeared without a trace.
